RESIDENT SATISFACTION SURVEY 2023

What our residents told us...

32 out of 38 Households completed satisfaction surveys.

This gave us an 84% response rate.

In November 2020, the Government published its Social Housing White Paper, setting out plans for a new consumer regulation regime. One element was the requirement that the Regulator of Social Housing develop clear and comparable tenant satisfaction measures. These measures should apply to all social landlords and cover the areas that matter to their tenants.

As a Registered Social Landlord, there is a requirement for us to carry out regular Resident Satisfactions surveys to give our tenants meaningful information about their landlord St Luke’s Housing Society Limited.  This also helps the regulator ensure that landlords meet the new consumer standards.

We carried out our resident satisfaction survey in February 2023.  This survey was very important to us and it has helped to give us a greater insight and understanding of how residents feel about their homes, the local neighbourhood and the services we provide.  We hope to use this information carefully to improve and shape our services in the future.

This means we are able to compare many of our results with other similar landlords across the UK.  The survey was sent to every resident at McMaster House by post and some residents were able to ask staff for assistance when completing the forms.

“83% of the 32 Household surveys returned reported a repair to the office within the last 12 months”

“67% of residents found it very easy to report a repair, 29% found it fairly easy to report, compared to 4% finding it very difficult.”

Only one person out of the 32 surveys retuned had reported anti-social behaviour complaint within the last 12 months.
